As our wonderful community introduces itself, we listen deeply and learn to honour each others’ journeys. Drawing from our community’s stories, Dr. Hayward reveals key insights about balance and openness. The future feels bright for Living Whole!

Kicking off a three-part series of Sunday sessions where we discuss, “What is it to be living whole?”, LWO Founder Kathryn Hayward helps us opens the door to self-reflection after Co-Creator Mimi Choi takes us through the new website and monthly programming. Through the sharing of helpful anecdotes and pearls of wisdom, our community takes one step closer to understanding how mental, spiritual, physical, nutritional, and creative wellness contribute to our sense of wholeness.

As the old saying goes, "You are what you eat." If food shapes us, so can intention. How can we incorporate unconditional love into our diet?
After a handy rundown of monthly programming by LWO Co-Creator Dr. Mimi Choi, chef, filmmaker and author Kim Campbell takes us on the journey that brought her to raising awareness about a whole food, plant-based diet. Thanks to her insightful experiences with PlantPure Jumpstart, Kim felt inspired to share the benefits of delicious plant-based meals through her cookbook The PlantPure Kitchen. As we listen to her nutritional wisdom, personal stories shared by our members reveal essential guidelines and healthy recipes toward more harmonious diet.
This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session on settling the mind, led by Derek Notman, along with a closing sound transformation led by Maia Ibar.

The creative act has many iterations and mediums. What insights into mindfulness can be learned directly from creators?
To kick off the new year, LWO Co-Creator Dr. Mimi Choi does a deep dive into the new LWO website, with a comprehensive introduction to the concept of our Tapas a la Carte sessions. Filmmaker John Corry then joins us to share an exclusive sneak peek from his upcoming documentary From Food to Freedom, which tracks the impact of a whole food, plant-based diet in individuals suffering from Type 2 Diabetes. After a stimulating discussion about John’s career and approach to filmmaking, David Read reveals the powerful connection between mindfulness and woodworking. We are also blessed with new insights into life changes by psychotherapist Magui Block.
