Testimonials

Nancy

I found that Living Whole offers many dimensions for living well in our complex world. I found the retreat transformative in all areas of my life, especially with relationships that had old patterns that needed an update. I realized that the way I was eating was not beneficial for me and nourishing myself with whole, plant-based food during the 6 days gave me a fresh start that I continue to cultivate to this day. Experience the week and see what touches you...

For several years I have been exploring different routes to increasing health and well-being. I had been a smoker for more than 25 years and never came to grips with this bad habit. I was finally able to let go of my addiction to cigarettes, thanks to my experience in Living Whole.

Retreat Program and Experiential Workshops

The retreat program will include a wide variety of topics and experiences that will let you explore how Living Whole can improve your life and the health of the planet:

  • Experience peaceful, healing, mindful meditation and yoga practices.
  • Learn self-care energy practices such as Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient and powerful Asian discipline.
  • Experience fun and happiness with music, dancing, singing and evening sound bath meditations that help you marinate in vibrations that resonate in every cell of your body.
  • Learn how eating whole, plant-based food makes you feel light, clean, energetic, joyful and focused. Food is so much more than fuel...it is essential to your transformation. Savor every bite of tantalizing spices and sauces that enhance your warm grains, sumptuous vegetables, sweet fruits and luscious legumes as you nourish yourself with specially prepared foods that enhance your health and vitality.
  • Explore and deepen your understanding of Odyssey Family Systems, a paradigm created by Dr. Kathryn Hayward, that helps you resolve conflicts within yourself and in your relationships with others. Odyssey is a non-judgmental model that can help with your goals and challenges, including in the areas of estrangement, self-worth and self-sabotage.
  • Improve your listening and speaking skills as Dr. Kathryn Hayward guides you through Generous and Reflective Listening experiences.
  • Free yourself from the constraints of relationship patterns that are not beneficial to you, and transform or release relationships, through The Project of Forgiving, designed by Dr. Kathryn Hayward.
  • Enjoy Awe Walks on campus where you will learn how to incorporate your natural environment into your whole being.
  • Schedule free consultations with our Facilitators.
  • Participate in opening and closing celebrations that will bring us all together in concert with the retreat program.

There will be free time built in for your own exploration, consolidation and resting. Excursions in your free time to local wineries, parks and art galleries may be organized with help from the Facilitators.
