Colin Evans is an emerging filmmaker and film student at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts whose work focuses on character-driven storytelling and emotionally immersive filmmaking.
Colin’s filmmaking journey included the opportunity to screen his short film Summer Street at the 78th Cannes Film Festival at The American Pavilion, where he connected with filmmakers from around the world and further developed his passion for cinematic storytelling.
Originally entering college as a business major while playing competitive soccer, Colin discovered filmmaking as a creative outlet that allowed him to explore storytelling in a deeper way. He shifted his focus to film and video production and has since worked on a variety of independent film and media projects while continuing to develop his voice as a filmmaker.
His current film project explores themes of grief, loss, addiction, and friendship, examining the emotional aftermath of losing someone close and the inner struggle of trying to make sense of that pain. Through his work, Colin hopes to create films that resonate with audiences through honesty, emotion, and human connection.
Colin is drawn to being part of Living Whole Online because the paradigm includes the creative arts which he feels are so important for health and healing.
