Tiffany Sankary:
We Recommend That You
Become curious about how your tongue and its position in your mouth affects your neck and shoulder tension. Have you ever considered that connection?
Tiffany Sankary was inspired to create this lesson of soft, curious exploration of tongue touching teeth to help a client who was going through chemotherapy for cancer and was having difficulty with anxiety and a fast heart rate during her treatments.
Whether or not you have a medical challenge such as that, you may experience jaw, neck and shoulder tension from time to time, and this lesson may be just the remedy for you.
You can play with this lesson in different positions. I even did it while riding my bike!

Course Description
Tiffany is the creator of MovementandCreativity.com, a treasure trove of online resources curated from somatic practitioners from around the world to support physical, emotional and creative well-being.
She is an artist, mother, curator and collaborator who practices and teaches the Jeremy Krauss Approach, The Feldenkrais Method® and Organic Intelligence® (in person & online).
In this program, Tiffany shares a lesson from her series that is focused on freeing neck and shoulder tension, this time by helping you focus on your tongue.
Most of the time you don’t think much about the power of the tongue muscle and how it relates to the other structures of your neck and, by extension, your shoulders. By devoting a few minutes to following Tiffany’s guidance as you touch your tongue to particular teeth and notice your experience, you will learn new ways of releasing tension in your neck and shoulders. Such a simple, profound movement can be done anywhere, anytime.
