Course Description

What are the factors that contribute to back pain and what can I do about them?

In the Back Pain TLC, you learned that pain is your body’s way of getting your attention about something that you have not been aware of. The Back Pain TLC teaches an Integrative Whole Health approach to back pain: what the conventional medicine system understands about the physical structure of the back, how to move your body and feed yourself to prevent and treat back pain, and how your emotions affect your back pain.


Integrative Whole Health is an essential part of your Living Whole journey.


In Derek Notman’s program on Jin Shin Jyutsu for Back Pain, he teaches that the kidney and bladder meridians, which are energy pathways in the body, are related to back pain and the general invigoration of the body. They are aspects of the fourth depth of the water element of the body. When the fourth depth is out of balance, fear dominates, and when it is in balance, your body’s energy can flow more freely.
