We Recommend That You

Take time to appreciate how your neck and head position during your hours on your computer and screens creates strain that affects your whole body, worsening your stress and anxiety.

Tiffany Sankary invites you to join her in this lesson of gentle exploration so that you can undo your head forward posture.

All of the beautiful nerves and wiring that come through the neck get cramped up and tightened when your head is forward. When you don’t have flow there, you get neck tension and pain that transfers to other areas of your body. It also affects your vagus nerve, worsening your stress and anxiety.

Tiffany Sankary:
Feldenkrais Movement Lesson

Course Description

Tiffany is the creator of MovementandCreativity.com, a treasure trove of online resources curated from somatic practitioners from around the world to support physical, emotional and creative well-being.

She is an artist, mother, curator and collaborator who practices and teaches the Jeremy Krauss Approach, The Feldenkrais Method® and Organic Intelligence® (in person & online).

In this program, Tiffany shares a lesson from her series that is focused on the common condition of head-forward posture.

Learn symmetrical and asymmetrical movements of your shoulders, shoulder blades, upper back and neck that you can do while sitting at your desk. Take some time to become aware of the postures that you hold because of your interaction with your computer and mobile devices. These are positions that contribute to fatigue, shallow breathing, chronic pain and stress. By joining Tiffany in these movements that are both subtle and powerful, you will change patterns that free you to feel more energized and calm.
