Derek Notman Jin Shin Jyutsu:
We Recommend That You
Join Derek Notman as he helps you learn about the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, which is a self-care, self-strengthening energy practice that is thousands of years old. All you need to practice self-care Jin Shin Jyutsu are your hands. Derek will teach you to hold what are called safety energy locks in your body, helping to release energy blockages that occur simply because life creates stresses for you. In Jin Shin Jyutsu, energy blockages are referred to as “stuckness” and “stagnation.” When you hold the safety energy locks, you restore circulation and the natural intelligence of your body and release blocked energy. Notice your experience. Bring attention and curiosity to your Jin Shin Jyutsu practice and you will support your body to help you with the symptoms of anxiety that cause you so much discomfort.
Course Description
In the Depression TLC, you saw that an Integrative Whole Health approach to your concerns about depression includes what the conventional medicine system understands about depression and what it can offer to you. You learned how to move your body and nourish yourself with foods to relieve symptoms of depression, and the mind/body/spirit tools that can help you. Integrative Whole Health is an essential part of your Living Whole journey.
In Derek Notman’s program teaching you Jin Shin Jyutsu for Depression, he introduces the Face Flows: the Stomach Flow, the Gallbladder Flow and the Bladder Flow.
These flows help you get out of patterns of thought that come from worry, frustration, and fear, and give you a sense of security, adaptability and acceptance.
The Stomach Flow helps you break down and digest your thoughts, helping energy descend from the front of the head, balancing the attitude of worry as you connect with safety energy locks 21 and 22.
The Gallbladder Flow, known as the “windshield wiper of the head”, clears the attitude of frustration with safety energy locks 12 and 20.
The Bladder Flow clears the back of the head, the “tears and fears” that so often are part of depression, with safety energy locks 12 and 25.
Allow yourself to receive the invitation to drop deeper into your body and let go. Be still, listen for the pulsations under your fingers, and let go.
