Beca Salmon’s experience as a hematology/oncology nurse and later a primary care nurse practitioner prepared her well to be a nurse practitioner at the Center for Colorectal Surgery at UCSF (University of California San Francisco). She is the wound and ostomy specialist for the team and provides support, advice and direct information for people with hemorrhoids, anal fissures, Crohn’s Disease and many other diseases of the lower intestine.
Beca also practices daily kundalini yoga and is writing a book about a very difficult divorce. She believes that we overcome the challenges of life through committing to practices that help us heal. She sees that the happiest people have a practice that they commit to. It doesn’t matter what they commit to…the key is the commitment.
