Beca Salmon is at heart an educator.  Beginning her career as a bilingual special education teacher, and an educator of educators across the northeast, she then pursued her childhood dream of working in medicine and became a nurse and nurse practitioner. Now with over a decade of work with oncology patients, education is at the heart of her work in medicine as well.  The biggest part of being an educator is creating and guiding experiences and conversations that allow people to find their own voice and path forward. 

In her own education, part of that path now includes writing short and long form memoir. Beca believes that part of living whole is learning to tell and share our own stories with their unique twists and turns.  She believes that by embracing our own narratives we can be empowered to choose freedom and growth.
